Now that the tax-free holiday and first day of school are a memory, we are getting into the swing of things for the fall. Cue the exclamations of, ‘Where has the year gone?!’ Don’t let mommy brain keep you from getting out in the city with your little ones! This is a repeat activity from last week’s list, but it is so worth it! The Thirsty Roots Reading Group is a free reading club designed for children ages 2-7 to learn about the natural environment through nature-themed book readings and projects. This week’s book is “The Lorax” by Dr. Seuss and the craft is DIY Lorax hand puppets. The Treehouse is located in the Krog Street Market. Parking is extremely limited.
