There are quite a few cocktails for every holiday and Halloween is no exception, it has some of the coolest ideas! I tried to find the easiest and tastiest ones for this post, because we all know Halloween treats for mom and dad need something special and what better than spooky cocktails to spice things up?
Many of the cocktails I found tend to call for black vodka or dry ice and both can be hard to find, but I included a few that don’t use either of those to make it easy on you! If you are hosting a Halloween bash this year, you have got to add some of these to your menu!
Vampire’s Kiss
- 1 ½ oz Vodka
- 1 ½ oz Champagne
- ¾ oz Black Raspberry Liquer
Pour all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, strain into a martini glass. Rim glass with red sanding sugar. Enjoy!
Frog in a Blender
- 1 cup of ice
- 2 ounces vodka
- 4 ounces cranberry juice
- 2 lime wheels
(recipe) This would be good for a small party but not for large groups since it is technically a frozen drink and wouldn’t keep long.
Paranormal Activity
- 1 part Lucid Absinthe
- 1 part white crème de cacao liqueur
- 1 part coconut milk
- Drizzle of black Sambuca
I am not one for absinthe and I have made this drink with vodka as a substitute. Really cool gohstly, floaty fog effect for those that like the art of the drink. (recipe)
Dracula’s Kiss
- 1 ½ oz Black Cherry Vodka
- ½ oz Grenadine
- Cola
Served in a narrow wine glass, add vodka & cola with grenadine drizzled on top and ice for a bloody look, garnish with cherries. Enjoy!
Black Widow
- 2 oz Black Vodka
- Cranberry Juice
Fill a glass with ice and halfway with cranberry juice, top with black vodka and dipped in red sugar. Garnish with a cherry or a plastic black spider sitting on top. Yummm!
Pumpkin Old Fashioned
- 1 1/2 ounces bourbon whiskey
- 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
- 1 ounce maple syrup
- Orange peel twist or rosemary sprig for garnish
A yummy fall twist to a classic drink! This is for all you pumpkin lovers out there! It was surprisingly tasty and eay on the pallet. (recipe)
Bleeding Heart Martini
- 2 ounces dry vermouth
- 8 ounces premium gin
- Ice cubes
- 4 Pickled Baby Beets, each placed on a cocktail skewer
(recipe) These just look so cool and so very gross at the same time! I love it!
Black Ghost Martini
- 1.5 parts Black Vodka
- 1.5 parts Chambord
- 1.5 parts Cranberry
- Blackberry Garnish
-
Mix all ingredients together in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into cocktail glass of your choice.
