Spooky Cocktails: Halloween Treats for Mom and Dad

0

There are quite a few cocktails for every holiday and Halloween is no exception, it has some of the coolest ideas! I tried to find the easiest and tastiest ones for this post, because we all know Halloween treats for mom and dad need something special and what better than spooky cocktails to spice things up?

Many of the cocktails I found tend to call for black vodka or dry ice and both can be hard to find, but I included a few that don’t use either of those to make it easy on you! If you are hosting a Halloween bash this year, you have got to add some of these to your menu!

vampires-kissVampire’s Kiss

  • 1 ½ oz Vodka
  • 1 ½ oz Champagne
  • ¾ oz Black Raspberry Liquer

Pour all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, strain into a martini glass. Rim glass with red sanding sugar. Enjoy!

Frog in a Blenderfrog-in-a-blender-2

(recipe) This would be good for a small party but not for large groups since it is technically a frozen drink and wouldn’t keep long.

Paranormal Activity Paranormal Activity

I am not one for absinthe and I have made this drink with vodka as a substitute. Really cool gohstly, floaty fog effect for those that like the art of the drink. (recipe)

draculas-kissDracula’s Kiss

  • 1 ½ oz Black Cherry Vodka
  • ½ oz Grenadine
  • Cola

Served in a narrow wine glass, add vodka & cola with grenadine drizzled on top and ice for a bloody look, garnish with cherries. Enjoy!

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into cocktail glass of your choice.

  2. Garnish with a Blackberry on a stick. For the added effect of the smoke, serve on a tray with dry ice around it.
