Hi! I’m Tiffany! I am a mom of three wonderful boys. Asa who will be 4 in July, Ezra who is 2.5 and Ford who is 6 weeks! Yes, you read that correctly… that’s 3 under 3! Our first two were born 15 months apart and while it has its challenges, we wouldn’t change a thing about our boys being so close in age. Although, I could do without all the fighting! I am a SAHM. I love cooking, hanging out with my family of 5 and my American bulldog, Bruiser.
I was lucky enough to meet the founder of MAMC when I was living with my husband and our two boys in the tiniest of tiny apartment homes in Cumming, GA a couple of years ago. It was a stressful time to say the least. I met Caroline and we became fast friends; bonding over our children having almost the exact same birthdays and coffee! One day I saw where she had added me to this group on Facebook- MAMC. At first, it was just fascinating reading what all these other moms wrote about on a daily basis. Piles and piles of laundry, sick kids, husband woes, what’s for dinner tonight, etc. Then I started interacting and answering questions which turned into me asking questions that were floating around in my mom brain all day. “Which probiotic to use for my kids? What type of sunscreen has the lowest toxicity? Does this rash look normal?” I could go on and on. Somehow it happened… The magic that is AMC. I was quickly hooked and long to connect with all of my new mommy friends on a daily basis. We plan play dates, book clubs, girls night out, and much more. It is literally like having a bunch of girlfriends at your finger tips at all times.
As a stay at home mom, I was pretty lonely. After having my second son, just before I met Caroline, I was also pretty depressed and anxiety ridden. It was a tough time. Really, really tough. But this group totally saved me. I was able to see that I wasn’t alone and that other moms knew exactly how I felt. That was so comforting in a time that seemed really dark and daunting.
I am forever grateful to this group of women for being so open, honest and incredibly gentle in the way they care for other moms. MAMC does mom to mom support right. It’s incredible to have such a caring group of women that will drop what they’re doing for a second and help another mom out when she’s stressing about the well being of her child.
